Turkey Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu to meet David Cameron next week

Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu will be visiting the U.K. next week to discuss Cyprus reunification talks, the on-going circumstances surrounding Syria and Iraq and counter-terrorism with the U.K. Prime Minister next week.  Turkey’s PM will also be addressing the opening of a Turkish Investment Conference in London. Davutoğlu’s office announced the Prime Ministers travel plans on Saturday 16th January.

The arrival of Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu in the UK will be good news for Cyprus as reunification talks are at a critical stage for the Mediterranean island.

British Prime Minister David Cameron will be looking at this visit as a chance to reaffirm Turkey’s support on the war against terror as problems continue to escalate in Syria and Iraq.

Davutoğlu’s visit will also be used as an opportunity to meet representatives of the Turkish and Muslim communities in the U.K. where he will share his views on regional and global developments.
